I booked a tour with James as an early birthday present for my husband as he loves history. What a fantastic tour!! James picked us up from the subway in Brooklyn, and took us around the cemetery in his car between stops where we got out and walked. The cemetery is absolutely beautiful, and James is so knowledgeable about the history and the monuments. We had a blast, and would definitely recommend this tour!

I truly enjoyed the tour. being in a car helped a lot on a rainy day. Stories were amazing, delivery was very comfortable. Very recommended.

I was fortunate to be the only person on the tour, and despite the rain got to scope out a majority of cemetery, from the perspective i was looking for. James is extremely familiar with the space and rich history. I am a fellow taffy (taphophile) , and this is one of the most interesting cemeteries -, from a visual, ecological, and historical perspective. I highly recommend both James and the space.

Why should you choose this tour? The peaceful serenity of the cemetery is breathtaking, even in rainy/cloudy weather. I got James all to my self on my tour because of the weather (It was pouring down just an hour before the tour), and we covered so much of the park. The history, the stories, the people, all so enchanting and amazing. James is an excellent guide for this trip, and his passion for the Green-Wood Cemetery is contagious. I fell in love, and will for sure go back next time I´m in NYC. If you are a longtime new yorker and didn´t come here yet, I will really recommend you to go. It´s value for money, and worth your time. Even though I got a little more than 2 hours, it still wasn´t enough. Also, I got a special service - as my phone went dead. James offered me to take pictures with his phone, and I could charge my own in the car. Thank you so much, James! I will for sure come back.
